Privacy Policy — Revo

Effective Date: March 13, 2026

Welcome to Revo ("we," "our," or "us"). Revo is a video calling and social networking application ("App") designed to connect users around the world through real-time video interactions. We are committed to protecting your personal information and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and what rights you have over your information.

By downloading, registering for, or using Revo, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App immediately.

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of Revo globally. Where local laws impose additional requirements, we will comply with those requirements to the extent applicable.

1. Scope and Applicability

1.1 Who This Policy Covers This Privacy Policy applies to all individuals who access or use the Revo mobile application, website, or any related services (collectively, the "Services"), regardless of geographic location. By using Revo, you are subject to the terms outlined in this Policy.

1.2 Age Restriction Revo is strictly intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect, process, or retain personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If you are under 18, you are not permitted to use Revo, and you must not submit any personal information to us.

1.3 Third-Party Services This Policy does not govern the privacy practices of third-party platforms, websites, or services that may be linked to or integrated with Revo. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access independently.

1.4 Changes to Scope As Revo evolves, the scope of this Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect new features, products, or services. Material changes will be communicated to users in advance as described in Section 22.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Registration Information When you create a Revo account, we collect identifying information such as your display name, username, date of birth, email address, and phone number. You may also choose to add a profile photo or short bio, which are stored as part of your account profile.

2.2 Authentication Credentials We collect authentication data, including encrypted passwords and, where applicable, tokens issued through third-party sign-in providers (e.g., Sign in with Apple or Google). We do not store plaintext passwords at any point.

2.3 Device and Technical Information We automatically collect technical data about the device you use to access Revo, including device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (such as IMEI or advertising ID), mobile network information, time zone settings, screen resolution, and language preferences.

2.4 Usage and Behavioral Data We collect information about how you interact with the App, including session timestamps, feature usage patterns, in-app navigation history, call duration logs, frequency of interactions, and crash/diagnostic reports. This data helps us maintain and improve the Revo experience.

2.5 Video and Audio Data As a video calling application, Revo processes real-time audio and video streams during active calls. Live call content is transmitted securely between participants and is not stored on our servers by default, unless a user initiates a recording feature where explicitly offered and consented to.

3. Location Information

3.1 Approximate Location We may collect your approximate geographic location based on your IP address in order to display region-appropriate content, enforce regional compliance requirements, and detect suspicious login activity.

3.2 Precise Location (Optional) With your explicit permission, we may collect precise GPS-based location data to enable location-based features within the App, such as discovering nearby users or location tagging in public posts. You may revoke this permission at any time through your device settings.

3.3 Location Data Retention Precise location data is used only for the duration necessary to fulfill the feature request. We do not build long-term location history profiles without your informed consent, and we do not sell precise location data to third parties.

3.4 Use of Location for Safety In limited circumstances, approximate location data may be used to support trust and safety operations, including identifying coordinated abuse originating from specific regions or complying with legal requests tied to geographic jurisdiction.

4. User-Generated Content (UGC)

4.1 Types of UGC Collected Revo allows users to create, share, and publish content including but not limited to: profile photos, short video clips, text messages, voice messages, comments, reactions, and other media shared within the App (collectively, "User Content"). All User Content you submit is collected and stored on our servers.

4.2 Storage and Retention of UGC User Content you post to public or semi-public areas of the App is stored on our cloud infrastructure for as long as your account remains active or until you delete the content. Upon account deletion, User Content will be removed from active servers within 30 days, subject to legal hold obligations.

4.3 Content Moderation We reserve the right to review, moderate, and remove User Content that violates our Community Guidelines or this Privacy Policy. Automated systems and human review teams may analyze User Content for policy compliance, including detecting illegal material, hate speech, and other prohibited content.

4.4 Intellectual Property By submitting User Content to Revo, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Services. You retain ownership of all intellectual property rights in your content.

4.5 Reporting and Takedown Users may report User Content they believe violates our policies using the in-app reporting tool. We will review reports and take action, which may include content removal, account suspension, or referral to law enforcement where legally required.

5. Communications and Support Data

5.1 In-App Messaging Revo may offer text-based messaging features in addition to video calls. Messages sent between users are encrypted in transit. Metadata associated with messages (such as timestamps, sender/recipient identifiers, and message status) may be stored for operational and safety purposes.

5.2 Customer Support Interactions When you contact us for support, we collect the information you provide in that interaction, including your account details, a description of your issue, and any attachments or screenshots you submit. This information is used solely to resolve your inquiry and improve our support services.

5.3 Feedback and Surveys If you voluntarily participate in surveys, ratings, or feedback programs, we collect the responses you provide. Participation is optional, and responses are used to improve our products and services.

5.4 Push Notifications We may send you push notifications related to app activity, security alerts, or promotional messages (where permitted). You can manage notification preferences within the App settings or through your device's notification controls.

6. How We Use Your Information

6.1 Service Delivery and Account Management The primary purpose of data collection is to provide, operate, and maintain the Revo platform. This includes authenticating your identity at login, enabling video and audio calling features, managing your account settings, and facilitating connections between users.

6.2 Personalization and Recommendations We use behavioral and preference data to personalize your experience within the App, including suggesting relevant users to connect with, surfacing content that matches your interests, and customizing the order of content in your feed. Personalization algorithms operate on aggregated and anonymized signals wherever possible.

6.3 Safety, Trust, and Integrity Information collected is used to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, impersonation, harassment, and other harmful behaviors. Our Trust & Safety team reviews flagged accounts and content, and automated systems scan for patterns indicative of policy violations or illegal activity.

6.4 Analytics and Product Improvement Aggregated and de-identified usage data is analyzed to understand how users interact with Revo, identify bugs and performance bottlenecks, and guide product development decisions. We may use third-party analytics providers for this purpose, as described in Section 9.

6.5 Legal Compliance and Enforcement We use collected data as necessary to comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful legal requests, enforce our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, and protect the rights, property, and safety of Revo, its users, and the public.

6.6 Marketing and Promotional Communications With your consent where required by applicable law, we may use your contact information to send you information about new features, promotions, or updates to the Revo platform. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time as described in Section 14.

7. Legal Bases for Processing (Applicable to EEA, UK, and Similar Jurisdictions)

7.1 Contractual Necessity Much of our data processing is necessary to fulfill the contract we have with you when you create a Revo account. This includes processing your account information, enabling video calls, and maintaining your profile.

7.2 Legitimate Interests We process certain data based on our legitimate business interests, including fraud prevention, service improvement, and ensuring platform security, provided such interests are not overridden by your fundamental rights and freedoms.

7.3 Consent Where we rely on your consent to process data (such as for precise location access, marketing communications, or optional features), you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

7.4 Legal Obligation We may process personal data where necessary to comply with a legal obligation, such as responding to a valid court order, regulatory inquiry, or statutory requirement in the jurisdictions where we operate.

7.5 Vital Interests In exceptional circumstances, we may process data where necessary to protect the vital interests of a user or another person, such as in emergency situations involving risk to life.

8. Information Sharing and Disclosure

8.1 No Sale of Personal Data We do not sell your personal information to third parties for monetary compensation. Any sharing of data is conducted strictly for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

8.2 Service Providers and Sub-processors We share data with carefully selected third-party vendors who assist us in operating Revo. These include cloud hosting providers, content delivery networks, analytics services, customer support platforms, and fraud detection tools. All service providers are contractually bound to process data only as directed by us and to maintain appropriate security standards.

8.3 Other Users Certain information you choose to make public on Revo, such as your display name, profile photo, and public posts, will be visible to other users of the platform. You control the visibility of your profile and content through your in-app privacy settings.

8.4 Business Transfers In the event of a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or reorganization involving Revo or its parent entity, your personal data may be transferred to the acquiring entity as part of that transaction. We will notify you via in-app notice or email before your data becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.

8.5 Legal and Regulatory Disclosures We may disclose personal data to law enforcement agencies, government authorities, or other third parties when we are legally required to do so, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to prevent imminent harm, protect our legal rights, or respond to a verified legal process such as a subpoena or court order.

8.6 Aggregated and Anonymized Data We may share aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized data with partners, researchers, or the public for purposes such as industry analysis, academic research, or platform transparency reporting. Such data cannot reasonably be used to identify individual users.

9. Third-Party Analytics and Advertising Technologies

9.1 Analytics Providers Revo uses third-party analytics tools (such as Firebase Analytics or equivalent services) to understand user behavior within the App. These tools collect data such as session duration, feature engagement, and crash reports. Analytics providers are prohibited from using this data for their own commercial purposes.

9.2 Advertising Identifiers Your device may expose an advertising identifier (e.g., Google Advertising ID or Apple IDFA). We may use this identifier to measure the effectiveness of our own promotional campaigns or to limit ad frequency. You can reset or opt out of advertising identifier tracking through your device settings.

9.3 Software Development Kits (SDKs) Third-party SDKs integrated into Revo may independently collect certain technical data as part of their functionality. We conduct due diligence on SDK vendors to ensure their data practices align with our privacy standards, and we require them to comply with applicable privacy laws.

9.4 Opting Out of Personalized Analytics Users who prefer not to have their usage data analyzed for personalization purposes may opt out through the "Privacy Settings" section of the App. Note that opting out may affect certain personalized features of the service.

9A. AI-Powered Features and Third-Party AI Service (Google Gemini API)

9A.1 Use of Google Gemini API Revo integrates the Gemini API, provided by Google LLC ("Google"), to power certain AI-assisted features within the App. When you choose to use these AI-powered features, specific data described in Section 9A.2 is transmitted to Google's Gemini API solely for the purpose of generating an AI response. All personal account data — including your profile information, contact list, call history, and device identifiers — is stored exclusively on your local device and is never uploaded to Google or any third-party AI service.

9A.2 Data Collected and Transmitted to Google When you use an AI-powered feature, the following data is sent to the Google Gemini API: (a) User-provided text input — the messages, prompts, or queries you type into an AI feature; (b) User-provided images — any images you directly submit for AI analysis (e.g., via an AI image feature); (c) Session context — limited conversational history within the active AI session, where necessary for the AI to generate a coherent response. No other data — including your name, email address, phone number, device identifiers, location, or stored media — is included in requests sent to the Gemini API.

9A.3 How This Data Is Collected AI input data is collected in two ways: (a) User input — data you actively enter when invoking an AI feature; (b) Automatically within the AI session — session context maintained temporarily in memory for the duration of your AI interaction only, and not persisted on Revo's servers after the session ends.

9A.4 How This Data Is Used Data transmitted to the Google Gemini API is used exclusively for the following purposes: (a) AI response generation — to produce the AI-generated reply or result for your specific in-app request; (b) Content recommendations — where you have enabled AI-assisted suggestions, your input is used to generate personalized recommendations within the App. Revo does not use your AI input data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond delivering the AI feature response.

9A.5 Third-Party Data Sharing — Google LLC The only third party with whom AI input data is shared is Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, via its Gemini API service. Google processes this data in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and the Google Generative AI Additional Terms of Service. Google provides data protection standards equivalent to or greater than those described in this Privacy Policy. Revo does not authorize Google to use your input data to train its AI models beyond what Google's API usage terms permit, and does not share your AI input with any other third party.

9A.6 User Consent Before Data Transmission Before any data is transmitted to the Google Gemini API, the App will display a clear consent screen that: (a) identifies Google LLC as the recipient of your data; (b) describes what data will be sent (your text/image input to the AI feature); (c) states that no personal account data is transmitted; and (d) requires your affirmative tap of "Allow" before the feature is activated. If you select "Don't Allow," AI-powered features will remain disabled and all core Revo features will continue to function normally.

9A.7 Revoking Consent and Opt-Out You may revoke your consent to AI features at any time via Settings > Privacy > AI Features. Revoking consent will immediately disable all AI-powered features and prevent further data transmission to Google. Revocation does not affect your use of any other Revo features. Use of AI-powered features is entirely optional.

9A.8 Data Retention for AI Inputs Revo does not persistently store your AI input on its own servers. Input data is transmitted directly to the Google Gemini API and any response is returned to your device. Any temporary session context is discarded when your AI session ends. For Google's retention practices regarding data processed via the Gemini API, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy.

10. Data Retention

10.1 Retention Principles We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by applicable law. Our retention practices are designed to minimize unnecessary data storage.

10.2 Account Data Active account information is retained for the duration of your account lifecycle. Upon account deletion, your personal profile data is queued for deletion and removed from active databases within 30 days.

10.3 Communication and Log Data Technical logs, including call metadata and system logs, are retained for up to 90 days for operational and security purposes, after which they are automatically purged or anonymized.

10.4 Legal Hold and Compliance Retention Notwithstanding the above, we may retain certain data for extended periods where required by law, to resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or comply with regulatory record-keeping obligations.

10.5 Backups Data deleted from active systems may persist in encrypted backup systems for up to an additional 60 days before being permanently overwritten as part of our standard backup rotation cycle.

11. Data Security

11.1 Security Measures We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include, but are not limited to, Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption for data in transit, AES-256 encryption for data at rest, and multi-factor authentication for administrative access to our systems.

11.2 Access Controls Access to personal data within Revo's internal systems is restricted to authorized personnel who require access to perform their job functions. We enforce role-based access controls and regularly audit access logs to detect and respond to anomalous activity.

11.3 Vulnerability Management We conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and code reviews to identify and address vulnerabilities in our infrastructure and application. We maintain a responsible disclosure program to facilitate reporting of security issues by the external research community.

11.4 Incident Response In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in risk to users, we will notify affected users and relevant regulatory authorities in accordance with applicable legal requirements and within the timeframes mandated by law.

11.5 No Guarantee of Absolute Security While we take robust measures to protect your data, no transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information and encourage you to use strong, unique passwords and enable available account security features.

12. International Data Transfers

12.1 Global Operations Revo operates globally, and your personal data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries other than the one in which you reside. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those of your home jurisdiction.

12.2 Transfer Safeguards Where we transfer personal data from the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with data transfer restrictions, we implement appropriate safeguards in accordance with applicable law. These may include Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by relevant data protection authorities, binding corporate rules, or reliance on adequacy decisions.

12.3 Data Localization Where required by local law, we may process and store certain categories of data within the relevant jurisdiction. We monitor evolving data localization requirements across the markets in which we operate and update our practices accordingly.

12.4 Your Rights Regarding Transfers Upon request, we can provide you with more information about the specific mechanisms used to transfer your data internationally and copies of any applicable transfer agreements, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

13. Children's Privacy and Protection of Minors

13.1 Age Requirement Revo is designed exclusively for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect, process, or retain personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you become aware that a minor has created a Revo account or submitted information to us, please contact us immediately at revo.red@service.

13.2 Age Verification During registration, users are required to confirm that they are 18 years of age or older. We may implement additional age verification mechanisms, including but not limited to ID verification prompts in certain jurisdictions, to prevent underage access.

13.3 Parental Rights If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe your child under 18 has provided us with personal information without your consent, you may request the deletion of that information by contacting us at revo.red@service. We will process such requests promptly and take steps to remove the information from our systems.

13.4 Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) Revo has a zero-tolerance policy toward Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) in any form. We strictly prohibit any content, communications, or conduct on the platform that constitutes or facilitates the production, distribution, solicitation, or possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), the grooming of minors, or any other form of sexual exploitation or abuse of children. We actively employ automated detection tools and human review processes to identify and remove CSAE content. All confirmed CSAE material discovered on our platform is immediately removed and reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement authorities, as required by applicable law. Accounts found to be engaged in such activity will be permanently banned and referred to appropriate authorities. We encourage all users to report any suspected CSAE content using the in-app reporting feature.

13.5 Safe Environment Commitment We are committed to maintaining a safe online environment. Our platform is continuously monitored for content or behavior that may pose risks to minors, and we cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations related to the safety and protection of children.

14. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

14.1 Right to Access You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. To submit an access request, contact us at revo.red@service or use the data request tool available in your account settings. We will respond to verified requests within the timeframes required by applicable law.

14.2 Right to Rectification If any personal information we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to request correction. Many account details can be updated directly from within the App in the "Edit Profile" section.

14.3 Right to Deletion (Right to be Forgotten) Subject to applicable legal limitations, you may request that we delete your personal data. You can initiate account deletion within the App's settings, or by contacting us at revo.red@service. Upon verification of your identity and request, we will process the deletion in accordance with the retention schedule described in Section 10.

14.4 Right to Restrict Processing In certain circumstances, you may request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, for example while a dispute about the accuracy of your data is being resolved. During a restriction, we will continue to store your data but will not actively process it.

14.5 Right to Data Portability Where technically feasible and required by applicable law, you have the right to receive a copy of the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and to transmit that data to another service provider.

14.6 Right to Object You have the right to object to processing of your personal data that is based on our legitimate interests, or to processing conducted for direct marketing purposes. Upon receipt of a valid objection, we will cease the relevant processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests.

14.7 Withdrawal of Consent Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time by adjusting your privacy settings within the App or by contacting us at revo.red@service. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred prior to withdrawal.

15. Communication Preferences and Opt-Out

15.1 Marketing Communications We may send promotional emails or push notifications about new features, events, or offers. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link in any marketing email, adjusting notification settings within the App, or contacting us at revo.red@service.

15.2 Transactional and Service Notifications Certain communications are essential to the functioning of your account, such as password reset emails, security alerts, and critical service announcements. These communications are not subject to opt-out as they are required for account security and service integrity.

15.3 In-App Notification Controls The Revo App provides granular controls in the "Notifications" settings section, allowing you to choose which categories of alerts (e.g., new followers, incoming call alerts, promotional content) you wish to receive via push notification.

15.4 Do Not Track Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" signals. Because there is no universal standard for how such signals should be interpreted, Revo does not currently alter its data collection practices in response to Do Not Track signals. However, we continue to monitor regulatory developments in this area.

16. Cookies and Similar Technologies

16.1 Use of Cookies We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as pixel tags, web beacons, and local storage) on our web-based interfaces to recognize returning users, maintain session states, and understand how users interact with our platform. Mobile versions of Revo may use equivalent mobile tracking technologies.

16.2 Types of Cookies Used We use the following categories of cookies: (a) Strictly Necessary Cookies, which are essential for the operation of our services and cannot be disabled; (b) Performance and Analytics Cookies, which help us understand how users engage with the App; (c) Functional Cookies, which remember your preferences such as language settings; and (d) Marketing Cookies, which may be used with your consent to deliver relevant promotional content.

16.3 Managing Cookie Preferences You may configure your browser or device to refuse or delete cookies. However, disabling certain cookies may impair the functionality of parts of the Revo platform. Where required by law, we will present you with a cookie consent mechanism upon your first use of a web-based interface.

17. Automated Decision-Making and Profiling

17.1 Use of Automated Systems Revo uses automated systems and algorithms to perform certain functions, including content moderation (flagging content that may violate our policies), spam detection, recommended connections, and ranking of content in user feeds.

17.2 Profiling for Personalization We may build profiles of user interests and behaviors based on in-app activity in order to deliver personalized content and recommendations. This profiling is conducted in accordance with our data use practices and is not used to make decisions that produce significant legal effects on users.

17.3 Human Review In cases where automated decisions may significantly affect a user (such as account suspension based on detected policy violations), we maintain processes for human review. Users may contest automated decisions by contacting revo.red@service, and we will conduct a timely manual review.

17.4 Rights Regarding Automated Processing Where required by applicable law (including GDPR Article 22), you have the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing that produce significant legal or similarly significant effects. To exercise this right, please contact us at revo.red@service.

18. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
