Privacy Policy - Revo
Effective Date: July 30, 2026
Welcome to Revo. Revo is a knowledge-sharing application that brings together AI Companions and verified real Expert Users so that you can explore ideas, ask questions, and have meaningful conversations through text and voice. We are committed to protecting your privacy and to being transparent about how your information is collected, used, and shared. This Privacy Policy applies to all users of Revo worldwide and is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older.
1.1 About Revo Revo ("Revo," "we," "us," or "our") operates a knowledge-sharing mobile application that connects users with AI Companions and with verified real individuals ("Expert Users") through text messaging and voice calls centered on shared interests, professional expertise, and topic-based conversation. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights available to you.
1.2 Acceptance of This Policy By downloading, installing, registering for, or otherwise using Revo (collectively, the "Services"), you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy and agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described herein. If you do not agree with this Policy, you must not access or use the Services.
1.3 Who This Policy Covers This Policy applies to all individuals who access the Revo mobile application, associated websites, and related services, regardless of whether they interact primarily with AI Companions, with Expert Users, or with both. Distinct data practices that apply specifically to one category of interaction are identified in the relevant sections below.
1.4 Relationship to Other Policies This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and any supplemental notices we may publish for specific features. In the event of a direct conflict between this Policy and any supplemental notice concerning the processing of personal information, the supplemental notice shall govern with respect to that specific feature.
2.1 AI Companion An "AI Companion" is an artificial intelligence-driven persona made available through Revo that engages in text and voice conversation. AI Companions are not real people, do not have independent consciousness or intent, and are clearly labeled as artificial within the application interface.
2.2 Expert User An "Expert User" is a real, verified individual who offers knowledge, professional insight, or topic-based conversation to other users through Revo. Expert User profiles are labeled as real people and are subject to the verification practices described in Section 4.3.
2.3 User Content "User Content" means any text, image, audio, video, profile information, or other material that a user submits, posts, uploads, or transmits through the Services, excluding the automated outputs generated by an AI Companion.
2.4 Personal Information "Personal Information" means any information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular individual.
3.1 Minimum Age Requirement Revo is intended exclusively for users who are eighteen (18) years of age or older. We do not knowingly permit individuals under the age of 18 to register for or use the Services, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from anyone under 18. Additional protections applicable to minors are set out in Section 23.
3.2 Geographic Scope This Policy applies to users of Revo worldwide. Where the laws of a particular country, state, or region impose additional or different obligations on us, we apply those additional protections to users located in that jurisdiction, as further described in Sections 20 through 22.
3.3 Applicability Across Interaction Types Except where a section of this Policy expressly distinguishes between AI Companion interactions and Expert User interactions, the practices described in this Policy apply equally to both categories of use.
3.4 Relationship to Platform Age Rating Revo's listing on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store carries an age rating assigned by those platforms based on their own content descriptor systems, which may reflect a lower age threshold than Revo's own eligibility requirement. That store-assigned rating describes the maturity of content the app may contain, including the mature or suggestive themes described in Section 5.5, and does not modify or lower Revo's independent requirement that all users be at least 18 years of age, as set out in Section 3.1.
4.1 Account Registration Information When you create a Revo account, we collect information such as your display name, username, date of birth, email address or phone number, and password. You may register using a third-party authentication provider, such as Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In, in which case we receive limited profile information from that provider as authorized by you.
4.2 Profile and Preference Information You may voluntarily add information to your profile, including a profile photograph, a short biography, areas of interest or expertise, spoken languages, and topics you would like to discuss. This information is used to help match you with relevant AI Companions and Expert Users.
4.3 Expert Verification Information If you apply to become an Expert User, we collect additional information to verify your identity and background, which may include a government-issued identification document, professional credentials, employment or education history, links to professional profiles such as LinkedIn, and a short introductory recording or writing sample. This information is used solely to assess eligibility, maintain trust and safety, and display verified credentials on your profile, and is handled with heightened access controls as described in Section 18.
4.4 Payment Information If you make a purchase or, where applicable, receive compensation as an Expert User, we or our payment processors collect payment card details, billing address, bank or payout account information, and transaction history. Full payment card numbers are processed by our third-party payment processors and are not stored on Revo's own servers.
5.1 Conversation Content When you exchange text messages or voice calls with an AI Companion, the content of that conversation is processed in order to generate a responsive reply, maintain conversational context, and reflect the personality and continuity of the AI Companion you selected.
5.2 Use of Conversation Data to Improve AI Companions We may use de-identified or aggregated AI Companion conversation data to evaluate, refine, and improve the underlying AI models, response quality, and safety filters. Where we use conversation data in a manner that could identify you, we do so only as necessary to operate and secure the Services or as otherwise permitted by this Policy.
5.3 Retention and Deletion of AI Conversation Data AI Companion conversation history is retained for as long as your account remains active so that your AI Companion can maintain conversational memory, unless you delete a specific conversation or your account, in which case the associated content is removed from active systems within the timeframe described in Section 17.
5.4 Automated Processing with Limited Human Review AI Companion conversations are processed primarily through automated systems. Human personnel do not routinely review individual AI Companion conversations; limited human review may occur where necessary to investigate a safety report, a suspected violation of our Terms of Service, or a legal obligation.
5.5 Nature of AI Companion Content AI Companion conversations are designed for an adult audience and may, depending on the persona and the direction of the conversation, include mature or suggestive themes, emotionally intimate roleplay, or flirtatious dialogue, consistent with the app's age rating and content descriptors and as further described in our Terms of Service. This content does not include explicit sexual content and remains subject to the safety and moderation practices described in Section 26.
6.1 Call and Chat Metadata For conversations between users and Expert Users, we collect metadata such as call duration, start and end times, participant identifiers, and message delivery status. This metadata supports billing, quality assurance, and safety functions.
6.2 Automated Safety Screening of Real-Person Calls Because Expert User conversations involve real people, we apply automated safety screening, such as keyword and pattern-based detection, designed to identify indicators of prohibited conduct, including solicitation of dating or romantic contact, requests for personal contact information, or exchange of illegal or sexually explicit content. This screening operates on transient, real-time analysis and does not involve permanent storage of full call audio or video by default.
6.3 Retention of Flagged Content for Safety Review Where automated screening or a user report indicates a possible violation, the relevant portion of the interaction, or a summary and transcript of it, may be retained for a limited period to allow human trust and safety personnel to investigate, take appropriate action, and, where legally required, report the matter to the relevant authority.
6.4 Reporting and Investigation Records When you submit a report about another user, an Expert User, or an AI Companion interaction, we collect the content of your report, any supporting evidence you provide, and records of the resulting investigation and outcome.
7.1 Device Identifiers We automatically collect technical information about the device you use to access Revo, including device model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, advertising identifiers, and mobile carrier information.
7.2 Log and Diagnostic Data Our servers automatically record log information such as your approximate access times, app version, in-app navigation paths, feature usage, crash reports, and performance diagnostics. This data helps us identify and resolve technical issues.
7.3 Network Information We collect network-related information such as your IP address, connection type, and general network configuration, which supports service delivery, fraud prevention, and regional compliance.
8.1 Approximate Location We derive an approximate location from your IP address in order to display region-appropriate content, apply jurisdiction-specific legal requirements, and detect potentially fraudulent or abusive account activity.
8.2 Precise Location With your explicit, opt-in permission, we may collect precise device location to enable optional location-based features, such as suggesting Expert Users or discussion topics relevant to your region. You may withdraw this permission at any time through your device settings.
8.3 Retention and Use of Location Data We do not construct long-term location history profiles without your informed consent, and we do not sell precise location data to third parties. Location data used for trust and safety purposes is retained only as long as necessary for that purpose.
9.1 Types of Content Collected Revo allows you to create and share User Content, including profile photographs, short audio introductions, text posts, comments, and messages exchanged with other users. All User Content you submit is collected and stored on our infrastructure.
9.2 Storage, License, and Ownership You retain ownership of your original User Content. By submitting content to Revo, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating, securing, and improving the Services. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to the retention periods described in Section 17.
9.3 Content Moderation We use a combination of automated classifiers and human moderators to review User Content for compliance with our Community Guidelines and applicable law, including detection of illegal material, harassment, and other prohibited content.
9.4 Copyright and Intellectual Property Reporting If you believe that content on Revo infringes your intellectual property rights, you may submit a notice to service@revo.red containing sufficient detail to identify the work and the allegedly infringing material. We process such notices in accordance with applicable copyright law, including counter-notice procedures where relevant.
10.1 In-App Messaging Messages exchanged between users, and between users and Expert Users, are transmitted using encryption in transit. Associated metadata, such as timestamps and delivery status, may be retained for operational and safety purposes as described in Section 6.
10.2 Customer Support Interactions When you contact our support team, we collect the information you provide, including your account details, a description of your issue, and any attachments or screenshots submitted, and we use this information solely to investigate and resolve your inquiry.
10.3 Marketing Communications and Opt-Out We may send you promotional communications about new features, Expert User categories, or offers, where permitted by applicable law. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe mechanism in the message or through your in-app notification settings, without affecting service-related communications.
11.1 Purchases and Virtual Balances If Revo offers purchasable credits, subscriptions, or similar virtual balances to access certain features, we and our payment processors collect the transaction details necessary to process your purchase, including purchase history and payment method type.
11.2 Compensation for Expert Users Where Revo offers compensation, payouts, or revenue sharing to Expert Users for conversations conducted through the platform, we collect the information necessary to calculate, process, and report such payments, including session records, payout account details, and applicable tax identification information.
11.3 Tax and Financial Reporting Expert Users who receive compensation through Revo are responsible for their own tax obligations. Where required by law, we may collect tax documentation and report payment information to the relevant tax authorities.
12.1 Providing and Operating the Services We use your information to create and maintain your account, authenticate your identity, deliver AI Companion and Expert User conversations, process transactions, and provide customer support.
12.2 Matching and Personalization We use profile, preference, and usage information to suggest AI Companions, Expert Users, and topics that may be relevant to you, and to personalize the content and features you see within the app.
12.3 Safety, Security, and Fraud Prevention We use device, log, location, and interaction data to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, impersonation, unauthorized access, and violations of our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, including the safeguards described in Section 6.
12.4 Communications We use your contact information to send you service-related messages, security alerts, updates to our policies, and, where you have not opted out, marketing communications.
12.5 Research, Analytics, and Product Development We analyze usage patterns and aggregated or de-identified data to understand how the Services are used, to develop new features, and to improve the quality and safety of AI Companion and Expert User interactions.
13.1 Consent Where required by applicable law, we rely on your consent to process certain categories of information, such as precise location data or marketing communications. You may withdraw consent at any time as described in Section 19.
13.2 Performance of a Contract We process information as necessary to provide the Services you have requested, including operating your account and facilitating conversations with AI Companions and Expert Users.
13.3 Legitimate Interests We process certain information based on our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving Revo, including fraud prevention, safety screening, and product analytics, balanced against your rights and interests.
13.4 Legal Obligation We process certain information as necessary to comply with applicable law, including responding to lawful requests from public authorities and meeting our reporting obligations described in Section 23.
14.1 With Other Users Certain profile information, such as your username, profile photograph, and short biography, is visible to other users and Expert Users you interact with, as controlled by your privacy settings.
14.2 With Service Providers We share information with vendors who perform services on our behalf, including cloud hosting providers, AI model providers that power AI Companion conversations, payment processors, identity verification vendors, customer support platforms, and analytics providers. These vendors are contractually bound to use your information only as instructed by us.
14.3 For Legal Reasons We may disclose information where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect the rights, property, or safety of Revo, our users, or the public, or respond to a valid request from a public or governmental authority.
14.4 Business Transfers If Revo is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the successor entity's commitment to honor the terms of this Policy or to notify you of any material changes.
14.5 With Your Consent We may share your information with third parties for purposes not described in this Policy where you have given your explicit consent to do so.
14.6 No Sale of Personal Information We do not sell your Personal Information for monetary consideration. Certain sharing arrangements with advertising or analytics partners may be considered a "sale" or "share" under some state privacy laws; where applicable, you may opt out as described in Section 20.
15.1 Categories of Providers We engage third-party providers across categories including cloud infrastructure and data storage, artificial intelligence and natural language processing, payment and payout processing, identity and age verification, customer relationship management, and product analytics.
15.2 Third-Party Sign-In Services If you register or log in using a third-party authentication service, that provider's own privacy policy governs the information it collects, and we receive only the profile information you authorize that provider to share with us.
15.3 External Links and Content The Services may contain links to third-party websites or resources. This Policy does not apply to those third-party destinations, and we encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.
16.1 Cross-Border Processing As a global service, Revo may transfer, store, and process your information in countries other than your country of residence, including countries that may not offer the same level of data protection as your home jurisdiction.
16.2 Transfer Safeguards Where we transfer Personal Information out of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with similar restrictions, we rely on recognized transfer mechanisms, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an applicable adequacy decision, to protect your information.

19.6 How to Exercise Your Rights You may exercise any of these rights by contacting us at service@revo.red. We will verify your identity before fulfilling your request and will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, we will take prompt steps to delete that information and terminate the associated account.
23.3 Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) Revo maintains an absolute zero-tolerance policy toward Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation. Any content, communication, or conduct on the platform, whether directed at an AI Companion or an Expert User, that constitutes, facilitates, promotes, or glorifies child sexual abuse material, grooming, or sexual solicitation of a minor is strictly prohibited. Such material is removed upon detection and reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and applicable law enforcement authorities as required by law, including 18 U.S.C.
