Terms of Service - Revo
Effective Date: July 30, 2026
Welcome to Revo. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Revo mobile application, a knowledge-sharing platform where you can have text and voice conversations with AI Companions and with verified real Expert Users. By creating an account or otherwise using Revo, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Revo is intended solely for users who are 18 years of age or older.
1.1 Binding Agreement These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and the operators of Revo ("Revo," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the Revo mobile application and all related features, content, and services (collectively, the "Services"). By downloading, registering for, or otherwise accessing the Services, you affirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.
1.2 Eligibility Requirements To use Revo, you must: (a) be at least 18 years of age; (b) have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under the laws of your jurisdiction; (c) not be prohibited from using the Services under any applicable local, national, or international law; and (d) not have had a previous Revo account terminated for a violation of these Terms.
1.3 Accuracy of Registration Information You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and to keep that information up to date. Providing false identity information, impersonating another person or entity, or creating an account for a fraudulent purpose is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination.
1.4 One Account Per User Each user may maintain only one active personal account on Revo. Creating duplicate or alternate accounts to evade a restriction, suspension, or ban is a material violation of these Terms.
2.1 Account Creation To access most features of Revo, you must register using a valid email address or phone number, a username, and a secure password, or through a supported third-party authentication service such as Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In, in which case the terms of that provider also apply to your use of that sign-in method.
2.2 Account Security Obligations You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at service@revo.red if you suspect any unauthorized access to or use of your account. Revo is not liable for any loss arising from your failure to safeguard your account.
2.3 Account Responsibility You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you personally authorized it, including content posted, purchases made, and conversations conducted through your account.
2.4 Account Suspension and Termination We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your account at our discretion, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, applicable law, or our Community Guidelines.
3.1 Core Offering Revo is a knowledge-sharing platform that lets you have text and voice conversations with two categories of conversation partners: AI Companions, which are artificial intelligence personas, and Expert Users, who are real, verified individuals sharing professional knowledge, expertise, or topic-based insight.
3.2 Clear Labeling of Conversation Partners Every profile on Revo is clearly labeled as either an AI Companion or an Expert User so that you always know whether you are conversing with artificial intelligence or with a real person.
3.3 Service Availability We aim to make Revo available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Services may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical failures, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
3.4 Feature Modifications Revo reserves the right to modify, add, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Services at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes in advance, and your continued use following a modification constitutes acceptance of the change.
3.5 Geographic Restrictions Certain features of Revo may not be available in all regions due to regulatory, licensing, or operational constraints, and we reserve the right to restrict access to specific features in any jurisdiction.
4.1 Nature of AI Companions AI Companions are artificial intelligence-driven personas. They are not real people, do not possess independent consciousness, and any personality, memory, or apparent emotion they display is a product of software design intended to create an engaging conversational experience.
4.2 No Professional Advice Output generated by an AI Companion is provided for conversational and informational purposes only and does not constitute medical, legal, financial, psychological, or other professional advice. You should not rely on an AI Companion as a substitute for consultation with a qualified professional.
4.3 Accuracy and Limitations AI Companions generate responses using automated language models, which may occasionally produce inaccurate, incomplete, or contextually inappropriate output. Revo does not warrant the accuracy or reliability of any statement made by an AI Companion.
4.4 Data Use in AI Companion Conversations Your conversations with AI Companions are processed and may be used to improve our AI systems as described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
4.5 Mature or Suggestive Content Disclosure AI Companion conversations are designed for an adult audience and may, depending on the persona and the direction of the conversation, include mature or suggestive themes, emotionally intimate roleplay, or flirtatious dialogue. This content does not include explicit sexual content and remains subject to the content moderation systems described in Section 8.5. By using Revo, you acknowledge that AI Companion conversations may include this type of content and consent to its presentation consistent with the app's age rating and content descriptors.
5.1 Verification of Expert Users Individuals who wish to appear on Revo as Expert Users must complete a verification process, which may include identity verification, review of professional credentials or background, and a sample introduction. Revo reserves sole discretion to approve, decline, or remove Expert User status at any time.
5.2 Purpose of Expert User Conversations Conversations with Expert Users are intended for knowledge sharing, mentorship, and topic-based discussion. They are not a dating, matchmaking, or romantic introduction service, and Expert Users are not permitted to use these conversations for that purpose.
5.3 Pre-Call Notice and Acknowledgment Before starting a call with an Expert User, you will be shown a notice reminding you to keep the conversation friendly and on-topic, explaining that this space is for real conversation and not dating, and asking you not to share personal contact information. By proceeding past this notice, you acknowledge and agree to abide by it.
5.4 No Guarantee of Availability or Advice Quality Revo does not guarantee the availability of any particular Expert User or the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any advice, opinion, or information an Expert User provides. Any reliance you place on an Expert User's statements is at your own discretion and risk.
6.1 General Conduct Requirements All users are expected to engage with Revo, with AI Companions, and with Expert Users in a lawful, respectful, and good-faith manner, and not to use the Services for any purpose that is illegal, harmful, deceptive, or contrary to these Terms.
6.2 Prohibited Behaviors The following are strictly prohibited on Revo: (a) harassing, threatening, or intimidating other users; (b) impersonating any person, entity, or Revo staff member; (c) transmitting spam or unsolicited promotional messages; (d) attempting to gain unauthorized access to another user's account or to Revo's systems; (e) using bots, scripts, or automated tools to scrape or manipulate data; and (f) disrupting or overloading the platform's infrastructure.
6.3 Prohibited Conduct in Expert User Conversations In addition to the general prohibitions above, you agree not to use conversations with Expert Users to solicit dating, romantic contact, or a personal relationship, to request or share personal contact information such as a phone number or social media handle, or to transmit illegal or sexually explicit content, consistent with the notice described in Section 5.3.
6.4 Reporting Violations If you encounter content or behavior on Revo that you believe violates these Terms, you may use the in-app reporting tools to flag it. We review reports and take appropriate action, which may include content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent termination.
6.5 Consequences of Violations Violations of these conduct standards may result in content removal, temporary feature restrictions, account suspension, permanent ban, and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement, depending on the severity and frequency of the violation.
7.1 Minimum Age Requirement Revo is strictly an 18-plus platform. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Services. Accounts found to belong to a user under 18 will be terminated immediately, and associated data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
7.2 Age Verification Measures We may deploy age verification mechanisms at registration or at other points of access, including date-of-birth confirmation or document-based verification. Providing false age information is a violation of these Terms and may constitute fraud under applicable law.
7.3 Parental and Guardian Notice If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe a child under 18 has registered for or been exposed to content on Revo, please contact us immediately at service@revo.red so that we can investigate and remove the account.
7.4 Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) Revo maintains an absolute zero-tolerance policy toward Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation. Any content, conduct, or communication on the platform, whether with an AI Companion or an Expert User, that constitutes, facilitates, promotes, or glorifies child sexual abuse material, grooming, or sexual solicitation of a minor is expressly prohibited. Such material is removed upon detection and reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and applicable law enforcement, as required by law, including 18 U.S.C. Section 2258A. Accounts engaged in CSAE-related activity are permanently banned and reported.
7.5 Safe Platform Commitment We invest in trust and safety infrastructure, including proactive content scanning and rapid-response moderation, designed to keep Revo a safe environment for all users.
7.6 Relationship Between Store Age Rating and Platform Eligibility Revo's listing on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store carries an age rating assigned by those platforms based on their own content descriptor systems, which may reflect a lower age threshold than Revo's own eligibility requirement. This store-assigned rating describes the maturity of content the app may contain and does not modify or lower Revo's independent requirement that all users be at least 18 years of age, as set out in Section 7.1, which governs your right to access and use the Services.
8.1 Definition of User Content "User Content" means any text, photograph, audio recording, video, profile information, comment, or other material that you create, upload, or transmit through Revo. You are solely responsible for the User Content you submit.
8.2 Content Standards You agree not to publish User Content that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, or invasive of another person's privacy; infringes any third party's intellectual property or proprietary rights; is false or misleading when presented as fact; promotes illegal activity, violence, or discrimination; or constitutes spam or contains malicious code.
8.3 License Granted to Revo By submitting User Content, you grant Revo a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content solely in connection with operating and improving the Services. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to reasonable backup cycles.
8.4 Ownership and Moral Rights You retain all intellectual property rights in your original User Content. The license in Section 8.3 does not transfer ownership to Revo.
8.5 Content Moderation and Removal Revo may review, moderate, or remove User Content at its discretion if it determines the content violates these Terms or applicable law, whether identified through automated systems, human review, or user reports.
8.6 Liability for User Content Revo acts as a passive host of User Content and disclaims liability for content posted by third parties to the fullest extent permitted by law. You agree to indemnify Revo against claims arising from your User Content, as further described in Section 18.
9.1 Virtual Economy Revo may offer purchasable credits, virtual currency, premium subscriptions, or other digital goods (collectively, "Virtual Items") that can be used to unlock features or start conversations with Expert Users. Virtual Items have no monetary value outside Revo and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred outside approved platform mechanisms.
9.2 Purchasing Virtual Items Virtual Items may be purchased through the official payment channels of the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or payment mechanisms integrated directly into Revo. By making a purchase, you authorize us or our payment partners to charge the applicable amount to your designated payment method.
9.3 Recharge Process To add Virtual Items to your account, navigate to the wallet or top-up section of the app, select a package, choose a payment method, and confirm the transaction. Completed purchases are reflected in your balance promptly upon payment verification.
9.4 Pricing and Taxes Prices for Virtual Items and subscriptions are displayed in the app and may vary by region and applicable tax. Prices are subject to change, with changes taking effect on your next purchase. You are responsible for any sales tax, VAT, or similar levy associated with your purchase, unless otherwise stated.
9.5 Expiration of Virtual Currency Virtual currency or Virtual Items acquired through promotions, bonuses, or gifts may be subject to an expiration date disclosed at the time of issuance. Purchased virtual currency does not expire while your account remains active and in good standing.
10.1 Refund Policy Purchases of Virtual Items are generally final and non-refundable once completed, except where required by applicable law. If you believe a charge was made in error or you experienced a technical failure that prevented delivery of a purchased item, contact service@revo.red within 14 days of the transaction. We will investigate refund requests in good faith.
10.2 Subscription Services Premium subscription plans automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal through the applicable app store settings. We do not offer refunds for unused portions of an active subscription period except where required by local consumer protection law.
10.3 Dispute Resolution for Purchases If you believe a charge is unauthorized or incorrect, contact us at service@revo.red before initiating a chargeback with your payment provider. Chargebacks filed without first contacting us may result in account suspension pending investigation.
10.4 Account Balance Upon Termination If your account is terminated for a violation of these Terms, any remaining Virtual Items are forfeited without refund to the maximum extent permitted by law. If you voluntarily close your account, any balance that cannot be refunded under applicable law is similarly forfeited.
11.1 Eligibility for Compensation Where Revo offers compensation to Expert Users for conversations conducted through the platform, eligibility depends on meeting our verification requirements, maintaining good standing, and complying with these Terms. Participation in any compensation program is at Revo's sole discretion and is not guaranteed.
11.2 Payment Calculation and Schedule The applicable rate, calculation method, and payment schedule for Expert User compensation will be described in a separate compensation policy or agreement made available to eligible Expert Users, and may be updated with reasonable advance notice.
11.3 Tax Obligations Expert Users who receive compensation through Revo are solely responsible for complying with applicable tax laws in their jurisdiction. Revo may be required to collect tax documentation and to withhold or report taxes on payments made to Expert Users where required by law.
11.4 Suspension of Compensation Compensation eligibility may be suspended or revoked if an Expert User violates these Terms, engages in fraudulent activity, artificially inflates engagement, or otherwise abuses the program, and no compensation will be owed for the period following suspension.
12.1 Revo's Proprietary Rights All elements of the Revo platform, including the application software, design, interface, trademarks, AI Companion personas, and proprietary algorithms (collectively, the "Revo IP"), are owned by Revo or licensed to us by third parties. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the Revo IP to you.
12.2 Limited License to Use the App Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Revo grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the app on your personal device for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works based on the Revo platform.
12.3 Trademark Use Restrictions You may not use Revo's name, logo, or other brand elements in a commercial context or in a manner suggesting affiliation with or endorsement by Revo without our prior written consent.
12.4 Copyright Infringement Notices If you believe your copyrighted material has been used on Revo without authorization, you may submit a takedown notice to service@revo.red including a description of the work, identification of the infringing content, your contact information, and a good-faith statement of unauthorized use.
12.5 Counter-Notices If your content is removed following a copyright claim and you believe the removal was in error, you may submit a counter-notice to service@revo.red, which we will process in accordance with applicable copyright law, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act where applicable.
13.1 Privacy Policy Incorporation Our collection, use, and sharing of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using Revo, you consent to the data practices described there.
13.2 Communications and Consent By registering for an account, you consent to receive service-related communications from Revo, including security alerts and account updates. You may manage marketing communications as described in the Privacy Policy.
13.3 Data You Share with Others When you converse with an Expert User or share content in public areas of the app, you may share personal information at your own discretion and risk. Revo is not responsible for the privacy practices of other users or Expert Users regarding information you voluntarily share with them.
13.4 Confidentiality of Account Credentials You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Revo personnel will never ask for your password through in-app chat, email, or any other channel.
14.1 Third-Party Integrations Revo may incorporate third-party services, including authentication providers, payment processors, AI model providers, and analytics platforms. Your use of any third-party service is subject to that party's own terms, and Revo is not responsible for its practices.
14.2 External Links Revo may contain links to external websites provided for convenience only. Such links do not constitute an endorsement, and we assume no responsibility for the content or practices of any linked third-party site.
14.3 App Store Terms Your use of Revo as distributed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store is also subject to the applicable terms of those marketplaces. In the event of a conflict between marketplace terms and these Terms, these Terms govern your relationship with Revo specifically.
15.1 Following and Connections Revo may allow users to follow or connect with AI Companions and Expert Users. These features are provided to facilitate genuine knowledge sharing, and you agree not to use them to harvest user data or build unauthorized contact lists.
15.2 Blocking and Reporting We provide tools to block users who engage in unwanted contact and to report content or conduct that violates these Terms. We encourage you to use these tools to manage your own experience.
15.3 Public Versus Private Content Certain areas of Revo allow you to set the visibility of your content as public or limited to approved connections. You are responsible for configuring your privacy settings correctly, and Revo is not liable for unintended exposure of content you made public.
16.1 Automated Safety Screening Conversations with Expert Users are subject to automated safety screening designed to detect indicators of prohibited conduct described in Section 6.3, such as solicitation of personal contact information or dating-related language. This screening operates on a real-time basis and does not involve routine storage of complete call recordings.
16.2 Human Review and Escalation Where automated screening or a user report indicates a possible violation, the relevant portion of a conversation may be retained and reviewed by our trust and safety team to investigate and take appropriate action, which may include the measures described in Section 6.5.
16.3 Reasonable Expectations of Privacy While Revo respects your privacy, you should not expect complete confidentiality in conversations that are flagged for safety review or that are the subject of a report, consistent with the safety practices described in this Section and in our Privacy Policy.
17.1 As Is and As Available THE REVO SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
17.2 No Warranty as to AI Companion or Expert User Content Revo makes no representation or warranty regarding the accuracy, reliability, or appropriateness of any statement made by an AI Companion or an Expert User. Any reliance you place on such content is at your own risk.
17.3 Limitation of Liability TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REVO AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
17.4 Cap on Liability IN JURISDICTIONS WHERE THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS ARE PERMITTED, REVO'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO REVO IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED UNITED STATES DOLLARS.
17.5 Exceptions Some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities. In such jurisdictions, the above limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted, and nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
18.1 Your Indemnification Obligations You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Revo and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your access to or use of the Services, your User Content, your violation of these Terms or applicable law, or your infringement of any third party's rights.
18.2 Cooperation in Defense Revo reserves the right, at your expense, to assume exclusive control of the defense of any matter subject to indemnification by you, and you agree to cooperate fully with our defense of any such claim.
18.3 Notification of Claims We will provide prompt written notice of any claim for which we seek indemnification, provided that failure to give such notice does not relieve you of your obligations except to the extent you are materially prejudiced.
19.1 Governing Law These Terms and any dispute arising from them shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Revo's principal operating entity is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles, subject to any mandatory consumer protections available in your jurisdiction of residence.
19.2 Informal Resolution Before initiating a formal proceeding, you agree to contact us at service@revo.red and describe the dispute in reasonable detail. We will make good-faith efforts to resolve the dispute within 30 days of your written notice.
19.3 Binding Arbitration If informal resolution is unsuccessful, disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration conducted in English by a recognized arbitration body, and the arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.
19.4 Class Action Waiver TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU AGREE THAT DISPUTES WILL BE RESOLVED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS ONLY, AND YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION AGAINST REVO.
19.5 Exceptions to Arbitration Either party may seek emergency injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm, including with respect to intellectual property rights or platform security.
20.1 Voluntary Termination by User You may close your Revo account at any time through Settings within the app or by contacting service@revo.red. Upon deletion, your profile will be deactivated and your data handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
20.2 Termination by Revo We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, without notice, if we determine you have materially breached these Terms, including through repeated policy violations, fraudulent activity, CSAE-related conduct, or actions endangering other users.
20.3 Effect of Termination Upon termination, your license to use the Services is revoked, you must cease all use of the app, any unspent Virtual Items are forfeited as described in Section 10.4, and provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, indemnification, and dispute resolution provisions, remain in effect.
20.4 Reactivation Accounts terminated for serious violations, including CSAE, fraud, or coordinated abuse, are not eligible for reactivation. Accounts suspended for lesser violations may be reinstated upon a successful appeal, at Revo's discretion.
21.1 Right to Amend Revo may update these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will provide advance notice through an in-app alert, email, or a prominent in-app banner.
21.2 Notice Period for Material Changes We will provide at least 14 days' advance notice for changes that materially affect your rights or obligations, except where a change addresses operational, legal, or safety matters and must take effect immediately.
21.3 Acceptance of Revised Terms Your continued use of Revo after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the update. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use and may close your account as described in Section 20.1.
22.1 Events Beyond Our Control Revo is not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government action, war, cyberattacks, or third-party service disruptions.
22.2 Mitigation In the event of a force majeure event, we will make reasonable efforts to mitigate the impact and resume normal operations, and will communicate the nature and expected duration of significant disruptions to users.
23.1 Equal Access Revo is committed to making the platform accessible to the broadest range of users and works toward compliance with applicable accessibility standards, including support for assistive technologies where feasible.
23.2 Non-Discrimination Policy Revo does not discriminate against users on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law, subject to our 18-plus age requirement.
24.1 Feedback License If you voluntarily provide feedback, suggestions, or bug reports, you grant Revo a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use and incorporate that feedback without obligation of attribution or compensation.
24.2 Beta and Early Access Features Revo may invite users to test experimental or beta features, including new AI Companion capabilities or Expert User tools. Participation is voluntary, and beta features are provided as is, without warranty of stability or continued availability.
24.3 Survey and Research Participation We may invite you to participate in user research or surveys. Participation is entirely voluntary, and aggregate or anonymized insights may be used to improve our products.
25.1 Entire Agreement These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines, constitute the entire agreement between you and Revo regarding your use of the Services and supersede all prior agreements on the subject matter herein.
25.2 Severability If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
25.3 No Waiver Revo's failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right, and any waiver must be in writing to be effective.
25.4 Assignment You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without Revo's prior written consent. Revo may assign its rights and obligations without restriction, including in connection with a merger or sale of assets.
25.5 Language These Terms are written in English. Any translation is provided for convenience only, and in the event of a conflict, the English version prevails.

26.2 Response Times We aim to respond to inquiries within 30 business days. For urgent matters, including security incidents or legal notices, please clearly indicate the nature of your inquiry in the subject line.
